White Rooms

Nowadays, white rooms, clean rooms, etc., are not exclusive to the nuclear, microelectronics or pharmaceutical industries, there are endless processes in other industries that require them, such as:

  • Food Industry
  • Cosmetics
  • Biosafety
  • Chemistry… and many others

A clean room is a room equipped with the necessary means to maintain a number of pollutant particles per m3 clearly lower than the adjacent rooms.

They may have other requirements: temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, light level, ...

If homologation is required, the reference standard is UNE - EN -ISO 14644.

It is also necessary to know and consider:
(EC)1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 30, 2009 on cosmetic products Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Directive 2003/94/EC (very common)

The design and calculations necessary to guarantee its subsequent homologation or to avoid cross-contamination are what make the difference between an investment that does not fulfill its purpose and is therefore very expensive, and one that meets your needs and requirements according to the task to be fulfilled.
